Recently announced, the 2019 Chrysler Pacifica was selected as a Top Safety Pick by the IIHS (Insurance Institute for Highway Safety). This was not the first, nor the second, but the third year in a row this model was selected for the Top Safety Pick or Top Safety Pick+ honor. We couldn’t be more proud at our Stoughton, WI Chrysler dealership.

The Chrysler Pacifica has been selected for this elite honor every year since its massive overhaul in 2017, and families have loved it ever since as well. This year, the minivan was recognized specifically for its “crashworthiness,” thanks to a super strong steel content at 72 percent, as well as its automatic emergency braking technology, which was graded as “superior.”

Despite the high-strength steel content, this model retains its efficiency; it offers up to 22 mpg on the highway, which is surpassed only by the electrified version of the model, the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid. It comes in at 250 pounds lighter than the previous Chrysler Pacifica model.

Additionally, the Chrysler Pacifica includes more than 100 safety and security features, which makes it a great option for everyday travel. Forward Collision Warning Plus, Lane Departure Warning, and ParkSense are among the safety feature highlights for this year.

It’s clear our engineers are as thrilled about this model as our dealers and customers. “From an engineering perspective, the Chrysler Pacifica minivan is a technological milestone,” said Phil Jansen, Head of Product Development, FCA North America. “It offers exceptional crashworthiness, without compromising attributes such as interior space or fuel efficiency.”

We absolutely love the Chrysler Pacifica, and we’d be happy to show it to you in person today. Those local to us can search for “Chrysler dealership near me,” and find directions to our convenient dealership and service center. Come see us!
